House Travel under Review

In response to reports of inappropriate travel expenses claimed by Representative Bob Ward, Democratic Nominee for Speaker of the Missouri House, Sam Leake, announced that he will look into the allegations. Jeremy Brown has more on the story....

Leake says that if he is elected speaker he will form a bipartisan committee to examine expenditures made by elected officials.

Ward says that Leake's idea for a committee to examine expenditures is perfectly all right with him. Ward also contends that the current speaker of the house had signed his expense claim and therefore he assumed it must have been all right. From the State Capitol, I'm Jeremy Brown.
