Missouri will have a higher percentage of new voters next November than all but three other states. Rich Kurz reports from the Capitol:
Missouri has been one of the country's best performers since the motor voter law went into effect last January.
Only Alaska, Colorado, and Washington D-C have registered a higher percentage of new voters than Missouri.
Debbie Chesire is Missouri's Director of Elections:
The law allows people to register to vote when they renew or change their driver's license, or apply for welfare benefits.
In Jefferson City, I'm Rich Kurz.
