Proposed property tax cuts should hit renters and owners

With more tax cuts on the way, some are wondering if everyone will get the breaks.

Rebecca Sapakie has more in Jefferson City.

Missouri's Governor, and the top House and Senate leaders have all come out in support of a 100 million dollar tax cut proposal.

One way they're looking to deliver this excess revenue back to taxpayers is through tax credits on residential property.

Property renters wouldn't see a direct credit but the president of the St. Louis Association of Realtors, Darrell Hindman (HIND-man), says not to worry.

Tax credits are being favored over refunds since over 650 million dollars in refund money is currently tied up in court.
