Halloween Party at the Governor's Mansion

A thirty-foot spider is expected to land on the governor's mansion tomorrow/Wednesday. Kristin Marinec tells us more from Jefferson City.

Governor and Mrs. Carnahan are not too old to enjoy a little Halloween fun.

A "Spook"-tacular will be held at the governor's mansion and is open to the public--free of charge.

Missouri Mansion Preservation, Inc. sponsored the event. Director Mary Pat Abele says the event shows the public that the mansion is more than a museum.

Six Flags will help transform the historic building into an eerie hounted house. Fireworks will end the night with a bang.

The governor's mansion will have its seventh annual "Spook"-tacular.

Governor and Mrs. Carnahan will appear in costume--their characters remain a secret until the party.

A group called the Missouri Mansion Preservation sponsors the Halloween event--which is open to the public free of charge.

The group says it's a good time to show the public that the mansion is more than a museum.

Six Flags will help decorate with giant inflatable animals--including a thirty-foot spider.
