U.S. winning war on terror according to Ashcroft

The United States is winning the war on terrorism according to U.S. attorney General John Ashcroft.

Ashcroft spoke to business professionals in Jefferson City Wednesday while protestors stood outside.
Contents:

"Well, two and a half years later, much has changed. We're winning the war on terror, our nation is more secure and our people are safer. In Afghanistan and Iraq we are spreading freedom to people who before only knew tyranny...and we've made strides in restoring the faith in the marketplace and the integrity of the board rooms of the United States of America as well."

The former governor also gave his security personnel an unexpected tour of his former stomping grounds at the Missouri capital.
