"There won't be as much national Democratic money turning out the base Democratic votes."
Overby says the money the John Kerry campaign pulls out of Missouri needs to be replaced.

John Kerry has reduced funding for TV ads in Missouri.
Some political analysts say this will hurt the Missouri Governor race.
But Democratic candidate for Lieutenant Governor, Bekki Cook, disagrees.
"I really think it has little effect on that race because it has so much visibilty, and people are looking at in such a different way then they would typically."
Bekki Cook also says Missouri Democrats like support from the top of the ticket, but she says Kerry's decision is not as hurtful as it might seem.
