JEFFERSON CITY - The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported that the Transportation Department is considering a plan to impose tolls on I-70.
The department's chief engineer said the proposal under review would cost drivers approximately $20 for a round trip between St. Louis and Kansas City.
Voter approval of a constitutional amendment would be required to authorize tolls.
