The Missouri Senate has approved funding for First Steps.
Victor Roberto has more from the state Capitol.
The Missouri Senate has restored funding to First Steps...a program Governor Blunt originally cut funding from.
First Steps provides services and help to families with children younger than three who have special needs.
But the program will face some changes.
Some costs of First Steps will be passed on to parents and insurance companies.
But Republican Senator Mike Gibbons from St. Louis County says none of the program's services will change.
Gibbons says parents would now be charged no more than 100 dollars per month for the program.
From the state Capitol, I'm Victor Roberto.
