Senate Committee Passes Workers' Compensation Reform Bill

A bill that narrows the definition of Missouri workers' compensation is one step closer to law.

If passed, the bill will alter the definition of who can receive workers' compensation.

Contents: "I think there's just so many things in this bill that I have stated over the last several weeks that are just horrendous."

The bill says only injuries caused primarily by an accident and not previous health conditions will be compensated.

The bill passed committee by a six to three vote.
