Seatbelts on school buses

Missouri lawmakers heard a first-hand account of the potential dangers of riding a school buses.

Andrea Ramey reports from the state Capitol how lawmakers must decide the real cost of seatbelts on Missouri school buses.

But after a school bus accident her senior year of high school, Madonna Long couldn't run for the track team any more.

Lawmakers listened to testimony for and against the House bill that would force school districts across the state to put seatbelts on buses.

People testified for two hours without any decisions made by legislators.
