Intro: Despite Columbia state senator Chuck Graham's arrest for a suspected DWI, one former state representative thinks Graham will find support from other legislators.

Chuck Graham's legislative future is unclear as both Democrats and Republicans refuse to comment on his arrest.

One man says he expects other legislators to help Graham through this incident.

Tom Burcham was a State Representative when he was arrested twice for DWIs in 2002, and says he felt support from both sides of the aisle.

Burcham says the Republican party may try to capitalize on Graham's mistake, but that individuals in the legislature will likely provide encouragement.

Democrats and Republicans are refusing to comment on the issue, but one former Republican legislator says both sides should lend support.
