Attorney General Jay Nixon helped create The Health Care Foundation of Greater Kansas City which gave $85,000 in grants to The Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, or ACORN, which is under fire for fraudulent voter registration cards.
The Missouri Democratic Party spokesman, Zac Wright, says Attorney General Jay Nixon has no control over the foundation's actions.

ACORN has been accused of fraudulent voter registration.
Nixon's campaign says the attorney general has no say in The Health Care Foundation of Greater Kansas City but Baker calls that assertion shameful.

Representative Kenny Hulshof's campaign spokesman is attacking Attorney General Jay Nixon saying The Health Care Foundation of Greater Kansas City gave $85,000 in grants to an organization under scrutiny for voter fraud.
The Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, or ACORN, is under investigation for fraud in Missouri and other states.
A spokesman for the Hulshof campaign, Scott Baker, says there is no denying Nixon's involvement with the foundation.
