Brenda Martens has more from the State Capitol.
In the newly updated lawsuit Governor Matt Blunt, Secretary of State Robin Carnahan, and General Counsel to the Office of the Governor, Lowell Pearson are listed as defendants.
They are charged solely in their official capacity with knowingly or purposefully violating the state's Sunshine Laws by deleting or denying public access to e-mails.
Governor Blunt's former chief of staff Ed Martin is charged as well.
Governor-elect and current Attorney General Jay Nixon appointed a two person bipartisan commission to investigate the e-mail controversy.
Attorneys Joe Maxwell and Louis Leonatti filed the revised lawsuit against Blunt Wednesday.
The defendants could face fines up to $5000 dollars if found guilty. Reporting from Jefferson City, I'm Brenda Martens.
