Wrap: The Senate passed a resolution calling for Attorney General Chris Koster to team up with other state's attorneys general against the federal government.

It's a non-binding resolution, meaning Koster doesn't have act.

Republican St. Louis County Senator, Jane Cunningham, says Koster should join the fight.

Description: "If our attorney general gets in as a plaintiff, it gives him a seat at the table. He can change things. He has the ability to really have his input in there, which is our input, our citizens' input."

Democrat Jolie Justus, was the only State Senator to speak out in opposition saying no matter if Koster joins, Missouri will be bound by the ruling and a waste of taxpayer money.

This all happens on the same day the U.S. House of Representatives votes to repeal the health care bill.

And on the same day, the Missouri Senate pushed for Koster to fight against the law.

Many Senators stood in support of the lawsuit, but Senator Jolie Justus was the only to speak in opposition.
