Some St. Louis grocery stores are making proactive decisions regarding the E. coli breakout, even before the Health department has confirmed the source.

Wrap: The St. Louis County Health Department confirmed 14 cases of E. coli in the St. Louis metropolitan area.

After interviewing patients, Health Department spokesperson John Shelton says there is no common thread between infected patients, which he says turns the focus to grocery stores.

Communications Director for Schnucks Market Lori Willis says it shouldn't be a surprised that local stores have already taken actions.
