Wrap: General Motors announced Thursday it will expand it's Wentzville plant doubling the plant's employment over the next three years.

Wentzville Mayor Paul Lambi says he believes the expansion will not only create jobs but will have a major effect on the community.

Wrap: General Motors announced Thursday it will invest nearly 400 million dollars in the expansion of its Wentzville plant beginning in 2012.

The plant will add a second shift of workers and begin building GM's Colorado midsize pickup.

Wentzville GM Personnel Director Ranae Tallon says the plant has waited nearly two years for the agreement.
