Wrap: The protesters and Republican lawmakers at the rally said the individual mandate provision of the Affordable Care Act is unconstitutional. 

During the rally, St. Louis County Republican Senator Jane Cunningham made reference to the new Senate district map that pushes her out of the district.

Cunningham is one of several Republican lawmakers who have proposed legislation to prohibit the implementation of the Affordable Care Act.
 
Cunningham's bill seeks to prohibit any law from requiring individuals to purchase health insurance.

Wrap: Republicans House Speaker Steven Tilley and House Majority Floor Leader Tim Jones spoke in opposition to the act at the rally.

Several Republican lawmakers have sponsored bills that seeks to prevent the Affordable Care Act from being implemented in Missouri.

However, Democratic Senator Kiki Curls says there could be problems with this legislation.
