Wrap: If Representatives gets their way, the voters will get to decide on a constitutional amendment that will limit state government spending. 

Republican Representative Eric Burlison sponsors the resolution.

In fiscal years when the state's revenue is more than one and a half percent of the state's expenses, the resolution would require any excess money to be put toward debt reduction and into reserve funds.

Now, if the Senate passes the resolution, it will be on the general election ballot later this year.
