Wrap:

Actuality:  SCHAAF11.WAV
Run Time:  00:01
Description: "Are you outraged yet?"

That was Republican Senator Doctor Rob Schaaf's question to the Missouri Senate.

Schaaf blocked a bill which would only allow the Health Department to conduct hospital inspections in Missouri.

It would eliminate all other agencies from the proceedings.

Bill Sponsor Republican Senator and Veterinarian Dan Brown of Rolla says these agencies can get in the way of doctor's doing their job.

Actuality:  BROWN3.WAV
Run Time:  00:08
Description: "They come in and they are going on fishing expeditions looking for anything else to justify their regulatory agency. So we said ok, everyone goes through the same rules."

The filibuster stalled a Senate vote.
