As Missouri celebrates Women's History Month, the man who called a female student a 'slut' for using birth control will be recognized for his achievements.

Wrap: A bust of conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh will soon sit in the Hall of Famous Missourians next to Walt Disney, Harry Truman, George Washington Carver and Walter Cronkite.

Limbaugh has faced national criticism for his outspoken comments, most recently involving the national debate surrounding contraceptive health care.

A Democrat from St. Louis, Jamilah Nasheed, called Limbaugh an insult to women and Democratic values.

House Speaker Steven Tilley said he did not take Limbaugh's politics into account and that no one could argue that he qualifies as famous.

The Hall of Famous Missourians recognizes figures from Missouri history such as Walt Disney, Harry S. Truman and George Washington Carver.

Tilley said there are some people who aren't fans of Limbaugh but he's not one of those people.

St. Louis Democrat Jamilah Nasheed, said she thinks honoring Limbaugh is a mistake and an insult to women across the state.
