1.        The facts supporting this belief are as follows:  The defendant is an elected State Representative from St. Louis County currently serving his third term in office.

2.        The Missouri Ethics Commission conducted an investigation into the candidate committee accounts of the defendant to determine compliance with the Missouri Campaign Finance Disclosure Law.

3.        Analysis of the defendant’s bank records and his financial disclosure reports revealed that between January 7, 2010 and November 21, 2012, in St. Louis County, the defendant purposely failed to report contributions received to his candidate committee fund, failed to report expenditures from the fund, made cash expenditures in excess of allowable amounts, comingled contributions received with personal accounts he controlled, and converted funds received by his candidate committee to personal use in violation of Chapter 130 RSMo.
