Wrap: Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services officials confirmed another case of Cyclospora in Missouri--bringing the total number of cases to five.

Neighboring Iowa has already confirmed 155 cases of the parasite this year.

Department officials say they are working with the Centers for Disease Control and other agencies to find out if the cases in Missouri are linked to the 539 total cases this year in the United States.

Cyclosporiasis can cause a myriad of intestinal issues like diarrhea, severe stomach cramps, or nausea.

The Department of Health and Senior Services urges anyone who experiences these systems over a long period of time to seek medical attention.
