Nixon announced today that Missouri plans to take advantage of the federal government's offer that would allow national parks to reopen if states pay the full operation costs.
Members of Nixon's administration have been instructed to develop a proposal for reopening the parks including the Gateway arch and the Ozark National Riverways.

Wrap: Thanks to a new proposal being drafted by member's of Nixon's administration, National parks near the Cardinal's stadium could be open in time for playoffs.
According to a press release issued today, they are proposing to reopen parks including the Gateway arch and the Ozark National Riverways.
Missouri will be joining a number of other states taking advantage of the opportunity from the federal government to reopen parks if they agree to pay the full costs of operation.
