Wrap: In the report released by the auditor's office, funds appropriated to government agencies were used to pay for the expenses and salaries of employees in the governor's office.
According to the report, the Departments of Elementary and Secondary Education, Natural Resources and Public Safety are three of fourteen state agencies that paid for the salaries of six employees of the governor's office. Those agencies have also reimbursed their travel expenses.
The report shows thirteen hundred dollars were used to pay for a float trip for Governor Nixon, his family, and four employees in the governor's office.
