The Missouri Senate unanimously passed a bill expanding the definition of bullying within schools.

Wrap: The bill would tighten Missouri school's anti bullying policy by requiring the policy to be printed in the student handbook. 

St. Louis County Republican Eric Schmitt presented the bill to the Senate.

Description: As we send our kids to school and they're there for eight hours a day, at least there's a comfort in knowing that a school district has developed a policy so that they have the ability to learn without the fear of harm.

The bill also requires schools to discipline students for cyberbullying.

The bill is headed back to the House for the review of Senate changes.
