Wrap: A bill designed to help students looking to escape unaccredited school districts passed the Senate Wednesday afternoon, setting up negotiations between the two chambers.

The legislation - which passed the House in February - was amended several times in the Senate earlier this week.

It now faces an up or down vote in the House, where lawmakers are expected to reject the Senate's changes.
