Add vehicles owned by the civil support team of the National Guard from laws governing emergency vehicles. The final legislative version includes other unrelated transportation issues by allowing two trucks to tailgate if using a automated wireless connection communication system. The bill also would repeal motorcycle helmet requirements for some motorized tricycles and allow longer buses on highways and changing the penalty for leaving the scene of an accident. The House defeated the motion to override the governor's veto.
