Require charter schools meet state academic performance standards. Require that outcome and measurements in the charger school contract be "aligned" with the annual report evaluations of public schools.

    Description: Impose additional requirements on cases involving a petition by the Childrens' Division to regain custody of a child that previously had been removed from custody of the parent(s). The Senate version contains several other unrelated provisions dealing with health and welfare issues including mandating safe-sleep practices at day care facilities and requirements for the administration to identify welfare fraud.
