    Description: Expand who a school district can designate as a protection officer with power to carry a concealed weapon on school grounds from a teacher or administrator to any employee of the district. Require ammunition come from a specific manufacuturer that supposedly does not ricochet. Require school board meetings on a request for desination of a protection officer be closed. Require each school district to hold a public hearing to consider implementing a school protection officer program.

    Description: Put into the Constitution "right to work" which prohibits requiring a person to join a labor union or pay union fees to get or keep a job. Allow civil law suits for damages for violation. Give both local posecutors and the attorney general power to investigate violations. Assigned to committee on May 7 when there were less than two weeks left in the legislative session. Perfected May 11 when there were only five days remaining in the session.
