* HCS HB 1205 Sponsor:Schad, Rodney Status: H Public Safety Description: Expand the ban on text-messaging while driving to cover adults. Current law imposes the ban to only those under the age of 22. Was not reported out of committee until April 8, when there were only five weeks left in the legislative session. On April 20, the H Rules Committee rejected the version approved by the H Public Safety Committee and returned it to committee.
