CCS SB 8 Sponsor:Munzlinger, Brian Status: GOVERNOR SIGNED Description: Expand a law allowing the use flashing lights on vehicles owned by the Transportation Department or their contractors to include vehicles leased by the department or contractors. Repeal a restriction on when the lights can be used. Current law limits use to the vehicle being stationary in a work zone. The House added a number of unrelated provisions including propane motor fuel taxes, log trucks, agricultural equipment on roads and more.

SB 75 Sponsor:Munzlinger, Brian Status: S Local Gov't & Elections Description: Require the county commission in a non-charter county fill a vacancy in any county office until the governor fills the vacancy. If the commission has just two members and cannot agree on a appointee, have the presiding commissioner make the appointment. The bill would exempt prosecuting attorney or circuit attorney's from the provisions.

If parties are dis-joined, dismiss a party's lawsuit if there is no Missouri county in which venue exists. Repeal a provision that retains a court's venue for the case even if the party for whom the venue was determined is dismissed. And also repeal a provision that a dismissed party remains a party to the case for venue purposes.
