Description:
Shorten the number of weeks for which a person can collect unemployment compensation if the state's unemployment rate drops below nine percent. Make the number of weeks of eligibility a sliding scale based on the unemployment rate to as low as 13 weeks. The Senate-passed veto override motion failed in the House.
