The HCS contains a number of other unrelated issues including establishing programs on eating disorders, a ban on pregnancy termination drugs (Plan B), require equal Medicaid reimbursement for various health care providers, midwifery regulation. The CCS removed the Plan B provision.

HA 1 provides tax breaks to manufacturing companies that add new jobs. A Senate filibuster killed the bill on the last day of the session, despite meetings by the governor with Senate Republicans and then Democrats.

Require it to be "actuarially equivalent benefit products" as that provided to those who are no eligible for Medicare. Part of the budget-savings package of the administration. Would save an estimated $3 million.
