Sen. Larry Rohrbach, R-California, called Democrats "puppets on a string for the governor" and said that if they were interested in the union issue, they would have shown up.
"It seems most unusual to me, and I wonder about the legality. Maybe they have a good rationale," said Sen. Larry Rohrbach, R-California and a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee.

A bill to do just that has been sponsored by Sen. Larry Rohrbach, R-California. It would require the Highway Patrol to test DNA evidence if a court agrees to a request. The prisoner would have to prove that the test results could make a difference in their case.
JEFFERSON CITY - Under the bill, sponsored by Sen. Larry Rohrbach, the state will perform DNA tests in cases where prisoners can prove it may make a difference in their finding of guilt.
